Besenzoni sets sail for new destinations, this time with a portable technology either at sea or
at land. This brand new app is at the owner’s side giving him precious advice with regard to
navigation, the solutions to problems on board as well as a multimedia toolkit.
In the wake of Besenzoni’s customer care philosophy, the app proposes itself as a valid
instrument to take one’s boat out freely with the certainty to solve any problems with
a simple gesture. The application allows access through the GPS system to a map of the
nearest Besenzoni service centre to ask for an intervention. The “one tap contact” mode
enables the customer to contact the service station with just one single passage using the
telephone, sms or e-mail. The section “My boat” will be dedicated to the operational control
of one’s own boat: apart from information such as the name, model and engine type, the
owner can also key in the expiry date of the insurance premium and the routine checks to be
effected, thus obtaining a sort of virtual manual of his own yacht. The app is completed by
a multimedia toolkit with text and video contents, full of tips for sailors from all levels: from
general information on life at sea to the practical digital compass in order not to veer off
course.
